The South Shore's Best Kept Educational Secret

Middle School

 Overview

At Good Shepherd Christian Academy, the excellent academic tradition of our elementary grades continues into middle school.  Because of our small class sizes and masterful teachers, we are able to advance students toward success in high school and beyond. It is our hope that many of these students will be part of our first graduating class from the future, yet-to-be-constructed Good Shepherd Christian High School.

 Curriculum

Our middle school curriculum is challenging, because we believe that the middle school years are crucial for the development of students. In addition to the core courses of Language Arts, Pre-Algebra and Algebra I, Science, History, and Bible, our middle school also take Spanish, art, P.E., music, music theater, technology, and academic enrichment classes. While all subjects are important, mathematics and

language arts are of preeminent concern during the middle school years. For this reason, our middle school emphasizes math (with Pre-Algebra and Algebra I) and Language Arts.
