The South Shore's Best Kept Educational Secret

Introducing Ourselves

Welcome to Good Shepherd Christian Academy (GSCA)! We are delighted that you have decided to visit our school website. The goal of our site is to introduce you to the school, give you a glimpse into the school so that you can make a more informed decision about your child’s education.
Good Shepherd has been in operation since 1976 providing an excellent education to all students while incorporating both social and spiritual growth rooted in a Biblical, evangelical worldview. A low student-teacher ratio helps each student receive the individual attention necessary for success.
We would be delighted to have you visit our school and give you a tour of the facilities, introduce you to our staff and faculty, and answer any questions you may have. When you and your child are ready we can schedule a shadow-visit day and begin the academic screening process. We look forward to meeting you and to speaking with you about GSCA and your student’s place at the school.

History

From its very beginning, Good Shepherd Christian Academy has valued children as gifts from God given to parents. Originally, the school opened as preschool in 1976. By 1997, the vision had grown to include preschool through sixth grade. In 2008, the school board voted to begin a middle school during the 2009-2010 school year with sixth and seventh grade. The middle school will grow to include eighth grade for the following year.
